JOHN A. DEMER graduated first in his class from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and has practiced for more than forty years as a member of both the Ohio and Florida bars. He has represented numerous corporate and government entities, assisting them in resolving a broad spectrum of business disputes. Mr. Demer has performed legal services relating to the Cleveland Browns headquarters, Gund Arena, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Cleveland Public Library and adjacent historical renovation project.
He has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation in municipal, state and federal courts, and served as an adjunct Professor of Law in Trial Advocacy at the CWRU School of Law for more than three decades.
In addition, Mr. Demer served on the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) in San Diego, California and Tucson, Arizona. He has been appointed as Special Counsel to the
Ohio Attorney General.
Mr. Demer is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Wittenberg University, and Strongsville High School.
